Prototype Demos

(ver: 23-Aug-2007)

A 6-minute presentation, followed by 5-6 minutes of questions. Show off your hardware. Make it work in class. If your hardware is tiny, use projection video or other means so the whole audience can see what's going on. Make this a pitch for your product so feel free to add a bit of "wow" factor...so long as you don't use flash and smoke to hide that your prototype really doesn't work. In other words, the better the prototype, the more permission you have to add a little zip.

"Prototype" means whatever you have at this time. Hopefully, it is hardware, but it could be models or mockups. Go further than concept drawings. For the fall prototype demos, working hardware is expected. . For the spring prototype demos, working hardware is required.
